Barcelona.
There are so many places in Europe I wish to explore, and I can think of nothing so amazing as hopping around the Continent to cities like Barcelona.
It is SUCH a beautiful city and I have to say….. even by just looking at pictures like these, it has won me over.
The history of this city is incredible, with many of the buildings date from medieval times. This grandness of this architecture leaves me completely speechless.
Had such a great day of exploring… and Greek food to die for. Discovered this very old cemetery, with graves from the 1800s. The local historical society had placed plaques round describing the life stories of the people buried here. So fascinating! They were spread out in a beautiful park…. flowers everywhere. It was enchanting. I really love cemeteries… they are so tranquil, and filled with history. Blissfully peaceful.
Yesterday I went to the Napoleon exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. So amazing to see paintings, furniture and jewelry from the eighteenth century. Simply blows my mind that I was able to stand in front of these pieces and see them for myself!
